What is it Wednesday?

Well spring has sprung at least temporarily.
Today was sunny and warm, and tomorrow will have Melburnian’s grumbling about heat (they have forgotten what summer feels like).
But the weekend is forecast to be wet and wintry again.
So as soon as I got home I was out pushing the mower around the back lawn. I just managed to catch up on it before the light failed.
Daylight savings starts this weekend! Yay!
Now before I hop in the shower to wash the grass clippings off I need to post this.
What on Earth do you think this is. My test subjects (AKA 2 of the family) scored 80% between them so I hope this one is not too hard.
And because the weather has put me in a good mood I will give a kind of clue. This WIIW is cropped from a piccie that featured on this blog back in August.

Distorted out of focus waves.

I know I said I wasn't going to guess anymore, but it's wicked early and I'm up and on the blogs.

Hi Anne,
Well good morning then (or in my case evening)

It's a detail of a feather! Take care

To me it looks like clouds viewed from above. I've seen similar images from an airplane window.

Well, Al, I'm thinking watery or feathery and I think I'll opt for watery. Part of a stretch of water, maybe flood water?

I think it is a close up of a water scene on a watercolor painting...

My guess is clouds, though I also thought of waves.
