She was dropped early this morning and the girls picked her up this afternoon.
Our vet fits a smart collar to every pet they do surgery on.
No messing with stitches for Lilli! The poor thing looked so
Not hard today, but I don’t know how we are going to keep a bouncy half grown Lab quiet after the initial discomfort wears off.

Poor Lilli! May she heal quickly. :)
Reminds me of when our kids were youngsters. They saw a dog wearing one of those collars, and our daughter wanted to know what it was for. Before I could respond, one of our sons said, "He's hard of hearing."
I hope your pup heals soon.
our vet doesnt bother with such things...mind you our scottie couldnt quite reach her stitches anyhow ...ah the blessings of being an odd shape
Oh, that collar is HUGE, bless her little cotton socks.. bet it's hilarious, no er, pitiful of course, watching her try eat from her dog-bowl in that..
That last pic says it all.
Aww poor Lillie. When Charlie got neutered, I got his dew claws taken off at the same time and they bandaged them with purple tape so it looked like he was a little Jazzercise puppy. :)
