My What is it Wednesday piccie is taken from a shot I took during a spare moment on my trip. My normal camera junky instincts are resurfacing and I can't even leave my camera at home when I go on a business trip.
So without further ado, what on Earth do you think this is?

Oh dear - another week of Al being cruel to his blog followers!
The 'thing' appears to have a handle. I wonder if it is a large knife with light reflecting off the blade. But then the blade doesn't seem quite to reach to the end of the whatever it is. I give in yet again.
I think this might be a slat in a door, like someone is looking out from a dark place.
